Lakshmi Narayana Hrdayam Audio

There are some stotrams given to us by the Great Maha Rishis that REALLY appeal to our hearts. Whenever the Lakshmi Narayana Hrdayam is heard, all awareness turns to IT, the feet stop moving and the heart overflows; hence, this wonderful hymn is presented here for the pleasure of all divine souls everywhere.

The formal proper method of recital and listening is Narayana Hrdayam first, followed by Lakshmi Hrdayam, followed by Narayana Hrdayam; the audio here completes the whole treatise in this order, so listening to this audio in its entirety completes the formal proper method of completion. The first Narayana Hrdayam stops at 10:00 minutes into audio, then Lakshmi Hrdayam stops at 38:10 minutes into audio, then second Narayana Hrdayam starts.

Miraculous events happened as the recording of this shloka was taking place, which is preferred NOT to be elaborated. Suffice to say that this is ONE POWERFUL hymn. Couple of different meters are used in this shlokam whose Rishi is Bhargava Rishi.

Narayana Sahasranamam LNS Audio

At the request of Minal Mehta, a recent visitor to this blog, here is the audio of Sri Narayana Sahasranama Stotram from Lakshmi Narayana Samhita. This stotram is in the form of a presentation by Sri Krishna to Sri Radha.

The pertinent link to the lyrics is given at the bottom of this post. While the entire stotram is beautiful, the part that appealed the most starts at verse 76 ( around the 15 minute audio point )wherein women, men, fetuses, children, seeds, flowers, fruits, senses, sleep, wakefulness, love, mind, knowledge, seasons, days, nights, wealth, grains, strength, all natural laws, devotion, life, light, all qualities, powers, surprises, tests, etc -- everything "including me" ("Aham Tvam") are all denoted as forms of Sriman Narayana !!! The hymn is simply loaded with praise for Him, Who encompasses everything, be it material or subtle. If one contemplates on these lyrics, the very notion of a human being separate from the Divine vanishes; then why worry?

The note at the bottom of the lyrics is somewhat important for those that are bogged down by details regarding the stotram not necessarily having a thousand names / qualities, but the Sanskrit shlokam does state that it is in the form of a sahasranamam. Thanks to the request by Minal Ji and thanks to Sriman Narayana, we all get to enjoy listening to this phenomenal shlokam.
