Dasha Mahavidyas are the ten Great Wisdom Goddesses and are Kali, Tara, Shodashi, Bhuvaneshwari, Bhairavi, Chinnamasta, Dhoomavati, Bhagalamukhi, Matangi and Kamala. These Great Goddesses provide the wisdom to the devotee that enables him or her to cut through the maze of ignorance and transcend to a life of bliss. Note that every time the shloka says "Pranamaami", it means "I offer salutations to".
