DeleteBUT I HAVE ONE CONFUSION, TO UNDERTAKE ANY RELIGIOUS ACTIVITY, ONE SHOULD BE PREPARED TO OFFER DAKSHINA TO THE GURUJI.
ReplyDeleteSHOULD I PROCEED WITH Shravanam Vratam FOR MY SON.
I HAVE READ IN YOUR BLOG THAT YOU ARE
A WELL DOING GRIHASTHA.
BUT I DO NOT WANT MY SON BE INDEBTED TO
ANY BODY.
Sorry for the delayed reply. Was out of town visiting Para Shakthi temple! Regarding dakshina, once the vratam is completed, please go to a local temple and offer an archana to the God or Goddess residing there. That will become the equivalent of dakshina. And please remember, you are NOT indebted to this Adiyen. We are all indebted to the Devas, Pitrus and Rishis.
DeleteGURUJI thankyou for clearing my confusion.
