Kalika Sahasranamam Kakaradhi Audio

  

 

In a previous post, we had dealt with the regular Sahasranamam for Kalika Devi which is the thousand name hymn for Kalika Devi; that was a discussion between Lord Shiva and Lord Parasurama.

 Here in the Kalika Devi Kakaradhi Sahasranamam, we will be dealing with another thousand name hymn for Kalika Devi which is from Rudrayamala. It must be noted that in the Kakaradhi version dealt with here, all of the names start with the letter “Ka”. This is a powerful shlokam and in the early part of this hymn, Kalika Devi says that “My ‘roopam’ or form is of the letter Ka”. I have really enjoyed singing this hymn and is my offering of respects and love for Kalika Devi.

This is a long hymn. I must give credit to Kishore, my brother-in-law for providing me this stotram. It gives me joy to listen to it and hopefully you will enjoy it too!
