Gayatri Hrdayam Audio

 

In conjunction with the previous two posts, in the Srimad Devi Bhagawatham Puranam, twelfth Skanda (part), fourth chapter, the Gayatri Hrdayam is covered. The Gayatri Hrdayam addresses the Essence of the Gayatri and is detailed in the Atharva Veda.  

The aspirant is to make himself a Devata as he meditates on this Essence of the Gayatri. Every part of his body is to be associated with the physical elements, mountains, planets, elements of time, seasons, Sun, Moon, etc. Then he is to offer salutations to Aditya and to Gayatri residing in the Sun. The sin removing aspects of this Divine Mantra is beyond what one can imagine.

The Gayatri Hrdayam is delivered by Sriman Narayana to Sri Narada Maharishi. Narayana is the Rishi, Gayatri is the Chandas and Sri Parameshwari Gayatri is the Devata.
